Spring is upon us and it’s time to get the flower beds planted again. It’s never cold enough in San Diego to plant bulbs.
Notes from Lucy who loves caring for garden:
“It was a hard lesson learned many years ago when we were first married – my sweet husband decided to plant oh, about 1000 bulbs while I was out of town one weekend. He told me about the surprise when I got back and we eagerly awaited the first signs of spring. Well, we waited and waited and waited. Only a few crocus, freesia, daffodils, and bearded irises made their debut. Bummer.”
“I stopped by our local nursery today to try and see what color of floral palette I wanted to do my flower beds in this year. Here are a few of my favorite ones. Which one do you like the best?”
