Plush Fox Doll D.I.Y.

These plush fox dolls are a fun one-evening sewing project that you can do with even the most basic sewing skills! The following is the step.

1: Supplies Needed- Simple solid, print, and white cotton fabric, scissors, card stock, plush stuffing, sewing machine/needle and thread and child safe snap on button eyes and noses. (You can find them in the doll section at your local craft store.) 2. Cut out the back and front of the fox. We made ours an estimate 1×2 ft. 3. Cut out and trace a circle from card stock on the back of your patterned fabric. This will be for the fox’s belly! 4. Next, sew on a triangle shape for the snout with the white fabric. For the eyes and nose, make a tiny hole with scissors, poke the eyes and nose through and secure it with the back snap. 5. After you’ve sewn on the snout, sew on the belly! You’ll always want to sew on the snout first, guaranteeing that the belly won’t be too high or too low. 6. Once you’ve decorated the front, place both sides together with the outsides facing in and sew them together, leaving a small gap at the bottom. After you’ve sewn your fox together, flip him inside out and fill with stuffing! Last, hand stitch the opening. All done!

Try adding different details and embellishments to give your plush fox doll cute personalities!

Floral Antlers Necklace Display

We whipped up a cute and super easy project about necklace display for Emma’s bohemian styled bedroom. This project only takes about 30 minutes and it’s so fresh and pretty… perfect for spring.

1. Supplies: Antlers (ours are faux from Hobby Lobby), silk floral stems, green felt, hot glue gun, scissors. 2. Begin by taking the flowers off the stem and applying a thin layer of glue between the petals and the plastic base of the flower (this holds it together after the stem has been removed) 3. Once it’s dry, cut off the tip of the stem, making the base flat. 4. Then, cut out and glue on a small felt circle to the back of the flower. 5. Lastly, apply a thick coat of glue to the felt and attach it to the antlers. Continue these steps until you have a pretty floral collage covering your antlers.

Enjoy your new antler necklace display! Use it to hand pretty necklaces and scarves!

DIY Coffee Table with a Built-In Planter

If you bought a wooden coffee table, it’s a good idea to plant a tree. Protecting the environment where we live is an important mission for all of us. So every project that will help us in that is very useful.

This coffee table update is a great contribution to the protection of nature, so don’t hesitate to update your table too. It’s very simple but your table should be made of wood or other materials you can drill.

First of all drill a hole in the countertop of your table using a round head. It should be slightly smaller than the top of a flowerpot you’re gonna use. Next, sand the edges of the hole. Then decorate edges of the hole with, for example, vinyl stickers. Now you only need to put the planter in the hole and you’re done.
